I was just minding my own business getting updated on all your posts and I just sneezed.

Sorry to say this and it's a bit gross, but I weed myself a tiny bit. I wasn't even holding myself because I needed the toilet. It was totally unexpected and I hope to goodness it's a one off.

Has anyone else had this problem? I'm only 29 weeks and always thought I had good pelvic floor muscles or whatever it is that normally holds your wee in.

Help, should I start wearing incontinence pants?

Jen x

I always find that when I am pregnant I have to cross my legs when I sneeze, just incase. After giving birth though I find that the problem seems to go away. I am 29 weeks with baby boy no 5 and I am no worse than what I was in my 1st pregnancy (which was just over 7 years ago).

I am ashamed to admit that I havent really done any pelvic floor excercises. If I did they would probably help with the sneezing during my pregnancies!

I wouldnt start worrying about the incontinence pants yet!

Take care

Hey Jen this has happened me..but then I was told when I had a gyne op that I had weak pelvic floor. It only happens the odd time and only since I became pregers. I am doing my Kegal exercises when I remember every day, have a postit stuck up on my comp at work to remind me (in code incase anyone would see it! )

Well, if you don't do your exercises it will def b in your future and sometimes it still is as things can't always be restored to their former glory. I'm on baby 5 and have totally abandoned laughing, sneezing and coughing in public. Vomiting as well, tho I never used to do that in public anyway but when I had morning sickness during this pregnancy had terrible, ahem, leakage.

DO YOUR EXERCISES

Hey Jen its only when you read about it that you think oops I must get them done!lol I dont know if it is making much dif to me as a month ago I had a vomiting bug and lets just say there were a few leaks...not very pleasant at all! I never had this prob before I was pregers so it must be with littlin laying on something or the change down there. Fingers crossed that these exercises do work. I might say to my MW when I am in with her next week about it and see if there is anything else I can be doing.
