i have been wondering the same thing!! my baby is 13 weeks old today . i breastfed for 9 weeks and i still havent had a period. my gp doesnt seem unduly concerned thou, i guess it just can take a while for your body to adjust back to its pre pregnancy state. it just worries me that it is going to come when i am out and about and i wont be ready for it!! i have enough stuff to take everywhere with me for oliver without all that as well!!

love kelly and oliver, 13 weeks today!!
xx

ok so i had ben 7 weeks and 2 days ago, breastfed for 4 days then onto the bottle and i still haven't re-started my AF. has anyone else taken this long? i mentioned it to the doc as i am also back on weight watchers and i havent lost anything in the last 3 weeks despite being really strict (i lost 4 stone before i had ben so i know i am doing the diet right) anyway docs said to go back in 5 weeks if still no period/weightloss andthey will look into it.

i am a bit of a worrier so would be nice to know someone else was the same and it is just 'normal' or at least to have an idea what the prob might be.

thanks

tina xx

I had a baby in July last year, got pregnant 10 weeks later and had no period in the middle so I guess you're quite normal and it's different lengths of time for everyone. Other times I've had babies and got a period a few weeks later so I wouldn't worry about this.
As for the weight loss prob, I dunno why that would be sorry, but how disheartening not to lose weight. Keep tryn

Jen 33 wks today x
