As some of you may have read from my previous post, after being 12 days late I went to the doctors for a pregnancy test who confirmed that my test results were negative.

However, after intercourse Wednesday night there was slight bleeding followed by a thick brown discharge which has continued since then. Normally my periods are every 3 weeks lasting 3-4 days but this discharge arrived after 4 weeks and has lasted 6 days.

Normally when my period is due I have swollen and very tender breasts, but have suffered none of that this month.

From the day my period was due I was experiencing a dull ache in my lower abdomin which has continued ever since.

Should I really class this as my period? Would it have been going on for too long to class it as implantation bleeding?

am experiencing similar thing. was due period on fri. had brown dis from last monday to thurs but no period. have been getting slight lower tummy cramps, and breasts are not tender. but periods are irreg so really dont know. been trying for year. not sure bout implantation bleed. would like to think it is but not getting my hopes up. let me know how u get on x have strted with milky dicharge today quite a lot is unusual for me x

We have been trying only for a couple of months now so shouldnt really get hopes up too much especially after negative test, but with my periods normally being every 3 weeks, I have been told that Im quite fertile.

I just dont know whether to class this discharge as a period or not, and am worried about doing another test as I dont want to get my hopes up!

This month has really knocked me off guard with my dates etc! I have read on most websites that implantation bleeding is normally pink and light, but yet have read messages saying they have experienced brown discharge.

hello, im 7 weeks pregnant and have also had brown discharge after i had intercourse ive had it for about a week now and also have cramps on and off throughout my pregnancy i havent been to the doctors because when i was pregnant before they werent helpful at all it has been worrying me but i know brown blood means old blood and ive read it can be normal after intercourse to get this.
