i'm PREGNANT!!!

wow i feel like i dunno actually i have alot of things going on in my creative mind right now its madness,

can i really be?
i done a clear blue one from tesco's up the road, and i was really nervous had my best friend come with me and i even told her sit on the bath while i'd peed on the test and within 60secs i had a positive,

she did say its best to test in mornings first urine or whatever she was on about but i couldn't wait!

only thing that i keep saying is i don't feel pregnant i have sore nipples and a missed period i don't have headaches or morning sickness or anything, i get grumpy but who don't thats just me (haha)

god i'm well excited

i've checked online that i should be due 26th december

i'm probably round 6weeks 6days as it said on the due date calendar...

thanks so much ladies i would of just continued to carry on and not noticed for a few weeks

Congratulations on your BFP Ashleigh! It is soo exciting when you get it...I remem getting mine...I was in shock for days!lol I didnt get the sickness until around 7/8wks...thinking back...it was the tiredness that was the big thing for me. But that all lifted about 8wks and then the ocasional nausia which I kept at bay with diluting orange. Drink plenty of fluids, sleep/ly down when your boby tells you to, take plenty of rest in the 1st few weeks as there is alot of work going on there that we are not aware of...and most importantly ENJOY! Well done! Big hugs... Sharon 24wk pink bump xx

Ooooooooooooh congratulations!!!!

I remember getting my BFP!! I was in total shock even though we had been trying for 4 months! LOL

Ahhh pray you don't get any sickness! I had it and it was a killer!! There is no sickness like morning or in my case all day and night sickness! Luckily mine wore off at 13 weeks. I couldn't wait for midwife appt, first scan etc. It flies by though, I cam 22 weeks now and its suddendly like - whoah, when did I get here and start feeling kicks?? Where did 5 and a half month go?? LOL

Ah you won't get your MATB1 form till your 25 week check, you get it from your midwife.

Congrats again! I went straight to docs for my antenatal and midwife referal when I got my positive. I found out Friday evening so killed me waiting till the Monday

Love

Get some Folic acid, or pregnancy vitamins, i took Pregnacare all the way through and will carry on taking it when breast feeding.

glad you got the result! don;t worry about not having many symptoms yet a lot of women dont until a couple of weeks on then you'll feel like total poo! or you could be lucky and just not get any/many, just one thing make sure you drink and rest in this hot weather it really does take it out of you xxx

You sound so excited. Mind get some folic acid if you haven't been taking it (maybe you have if you were ttc). You can tell your work if you want but you're not obliged to (especially if you don't want to be telling folk early on) They won't do mat leave stuff with you till you get your Mat B1 from ante natal. You usually get this around 21 weeks but it differs from area to area.

Take it easy

yh i'm well chuffed,

i cant wait to get a round belly and get cravings well looking forward to it is that normal? haha

gone a bit mad today...lol

my mat b1 what?

i havent been taking anything as i didnt expect to get pregnant me and my partner wasnt so careful one night and i'm pregnant, but do not regret it.

xxx
"You're normal"
Posted by 5reloaded5 10 May at 01:11

Of course you are, you're over the moon. Once you get used to it and start throwing up, smelling peculiar things, getting knackered and your back aching, you'll moan like rest of us lol. Or like me, cant sleep due to ferocious kicking and bouncing inside me. Why can ... do this in the day time???
Anyway, Mat B1 is a form that your employer needs to process your leave, guess it's a kind of pregnancy confirmation. Not anything you have to worry about at the mo. Buy some folic acid in the morning. What did your partner say?

hi oh okay well ive heard some horrid stories bout 3months into the pregnancy is a danger zone etc etc?

so i wont tell my work till 12 maybe 13 weeks now as i dont want to jinx it.

haha i really cant wait i'm still on cloud nine..

its so exciting i just cant believe it maybe my stepdad was watchin over me and blessed me with this little life,

i got some folic acid this morning does it have to be a certain brand as i picked mine up from the chemist?

my partner is shocked as it was a one off, and he delighted but it hasnt sunk in that he's goin to be a dad, probably scared the hell outta him now.. lol

Any brand will do. If I remember right the dose shuld be one 300 mg tab. Aw, thats lovely, you two will be stuck to the ceiling. Cos I'm always pg it's a bit like,ho hum, and reading your posts remind me to be grateful and cherish these feelings as I won't be feeling them again after this baby. I'll sure miss my impressive boobs when they return to their sad state lol
