"Bio oil"

I'm prone to stetchmarks, I managed to collect a few when I was a chubby teenager, so when I found out I was pregnant I rushed off and bought some BIO OIL straight away. I've been using it all the way through - I apply it straight from the shower, without drying off first. Once it's absorbed I slop on a load of Palmers Co-co butter on top. I'm super slippy, but my skin is great, not a single new stretchmark and I'm absolutely massive too!

I'd swear by it to anyone. Good luck hun. Just remember, if you do get them, they're just baby battle scars and proof of what you've achieved with your little one.

Hi matey,

I would 100% advise on Bio-Oil it is fantastic. I am due mid July and only started using it about 3 weeks ago (I couldn't be bothered before then as didn't feel like I was growing that much) anyway where I had little stretch marks before, they have started to dissapear. Hopefully by using it now it will minimise if not prevent any further ones.

I found coco butter makes the skin quite sweaty and difficult to breathe, it just seems to leave a film across the skin, whereas the bio oil gets absorbed and feels lovely.

Good Luck

I've heard that this is great stuff for minimising stretch marks. I got mine from my first when I was so young that didn't even know or care what a stretch mark was, however my subsequent pregnancies haven't caused any more than I had that first time and I just moisturise with regular body lotions all over every day, but I do treat myself to Mothers Balm and Oil from Neals Yard now and again. Lovely

I do not know what creams are best for stretch marks, but I know that I will have to start using them now!!! Im only 7+2, and I already have some stretch marks on my brests!! My stomach is also swolen, so I think the earlier, the better!!!
