Hi Girls, I had some pains in the front of my stomach this morning that were sharpe, and seemed to come and go with my heart beat!! They lasted about 15/20 minutes!! Has anyone else had this kind of pain?? I know I'm panicing everything time I feel something, but this really surprised me!!! Janice xxx.

Dunno how far on you are but this sounds similar to a pain I had at the start of the week tho mine lasted longer. I ended up presenting at Daycare as it was so unfamiliar to me (being on baby 5). I was having trouble describing it to the midwife, was a sharp tight pain (but nothing like BH's). Anyway, got checked out and felt a bit silly as was nothing wrong. MW said another one of the things we have to put up with it poss caused by some stretching inside or even some exertion that you may have done the day before.
Hope you're OK and obviously I'm not saying that cos I was ok that you are so if you are worried get it checked.

I am only 7+2, so very early on, which is why I think I'm in a perminent panic!!! Haven't had the pain back yet today (touch wood), so hopefully it is my body stretching (already quiet bloated)!!! Fingers crossed!!!

i sometimes get a sharpe stabbing pain right around my belly button in a line but it doesn't last very long feels like my skin is literally ripping appart but this is only when my wee man turns himself in a funny position, ask your midwife or gp when you see them next i had really bnad tummy pains with my 2nd and it was that she was a transverse breech * lying head to feet across my belly rather than up and down*
