I know just what you mean, this is so the worst time of the year to be pregnant. I feel like a house and although I've put on little weight everywhere else, my tum is like a barrel. I feel, bloated and minging and when I've been out with the girls I feel like a frump.
I told Chris the other day that I have never felt like such a fat moose in all my life. It doesnt help that my best friend is a skinny bean pole with a lovely shape. I put on my bikini the other day while home alone, I laughed for about a min before bursting into tears. It's definately convinced me that I'm gonna do everything I cant to get in shape after the baby's born - I'm going back to work a Yummy Mummy!
Chris says I look beautiful, but it's still hard. It doesnt help that it's so hot at the moment. Anyway, forget the skinny minnies, we're having babies and although it doesnt feel like it, we're as feminine as you can get.
Wont be long and we can reclaim our bodies.
Keep smiling hun, we're nearly there!
Love

.......at least I've got an excuse not to walk around in the shortest of shorts etc!
A summer baby has got to be the best ever. I agree the weather is hot, but there are people out there that are our size all year round so at least we know it's only temporary. At least when our little ones are here we'll be out in the sun pushing our little buggys while all our pals are at work wishing they weren't!
My other half is a personal trainer and he has been brilliant. I think he sees me as his little project when I give birth. I'm going to go straight onto one of his boot camps and then do some work outs with him at home. I cancelled my gym membership after 4 months as he didn't want me to train and told me to just enjoy being pregnant.......so I have!
I have an extra incentive to get back to my pre-preg state as well, we're going on holiday in October to Portugal so at least I have something to aim for.
If you set yourself a goal for when it's over, concentrate on that, rather than the now as there isn't anything you can do about it. As long as you always make the effort with yourself you should feel good (I only had to keep watching Kerry Katona on Crazy In Love to make me get in the shower and put on some decent clothes when I couldn't be bothered!!)
Not long to go now!! Jen 30 wks x x
