Hi Rach..

I am just 6 weeks with number two and have just been looking back through my dairy from last time... I was still being sick at 15 weeks and started at 7...!! I was a really bad example and I have never heard of anyone else going on longer than 10 weeks so hang in there...

Have you tried Ginger chewing gum?? Also having a dry biscuit before getting out of bed?? They both helped a little for me but I was like you... still throwing up late into the night!!

Hang in there it is just SOOOOO worth it. xx

Whole thread for the following message:

Hi ladies

I'm 7wk+2 and feeling AWFUL! So sick all the time (even right now at 10:55pm!) that I can't really eat, am shattered, achey and just feel generally rubbish. Its getting so bad that I almost feel I can't be at work as I only start to feel marginally better at about 3pm. Nothing I have tried so far will stop me feeling sick!! When does it get better???!

Rach xx

"Me two!!!"

Hi Rach,
I'm 7+3 and am really bad!!!
I even threw up this morning before I got up!!!! Which is a first!!! Every time I clean my teeth I'm sick, so it takes ages to get my teeth fully clean!!! I'm only really snacking throughout the day, and can't really eat full meals!!!
I have found that sucking boiled sweets does seem to keep some of the sickness away, but am worried that my teeth are going to rot to death!!!!
I have been signed off work for a few weeks (could your doc do this), so I generally lay on the sofa feeling very sorry for myself (and bored)!!!!
I have also found that lemonade and OJ mixed helps!!!
Has your stomach swolen yet?? I can't get my trousers done up already!!! And sleeping at night isn't really happening either!!!
I hope your feeling better soon, and it's so good to hear that someone is as bad as me!!!!
Good luck!!
Janice, 7+3

Yes my trousers are already feeling too tight I am very bloated. Skinny minnies everywhere in their hot pants and I can't even do up my shorts! Oh well!

Managed to get some sleep last night but feel sick again already! Don't think theres anything left in there to throw up! Although for the first time in days I'm managing to drink a cup of tea... not entirely sure its a good idea but I really wanted one! Its nice to speak to someone feeling the same as me. Will try the lemonade and OJ I love that normally so fingers crossed it might make me feel a bit better...

"New trackies!!"
Posted by jbeaumont1 11 May  at  20:53

If we already hate the skinny's, what are we going to be like in the summer???
My hubby took me out today and got me some trackies!!! That way they'd stretch with me (and I won't have to get maternity trousers yet, as I don't want to jinx the pregnancy)!!!!
Hope the OJ and lemonade has worked!!!
Take care,
xxx.

They say 12 weeks but I've always found it to be between 14 and 15 weeks - sickness stopping, having mass energy surge and generally feeling good and well for next 12 weeks or so. Except for my 3rd pregnancy when I had morning, noon and night sickness right up to day of birth, insomnia, carpal tunnel syndrome and an unbearable itch that took over my life.
I've never found any effective remedy for preg sickness but eventually it will/should dissappear almost overnight.
You'll be feeling well before you know it.
