hi girls,
since Carlos was born he has had bad milk spots on his face and seems to be sreading all over his head. my other 2 boys didnt have any of this.
is this maybe a allergic reaction to the milk? im breastfeeding but i dont think it could be possible for baby to be allergic to breast milk lol. sounds silly i know but im not sure about it.
concerned lauren and baby Carlos 2 weeks 5 days

milkspots. i thought ben had them and when the HV saw him she got me an appointment with the doctor and he has baby eczema which looks like milk spots but is accompanied with dry skin. he now has a cream to put on and it has totally cleared up within the week.
get your hv to have a look.

Dont worry about it. Milk spots are nothinbg to do with the milk. They usually disappear by the time they are 6 months. Just pat dry his skin when he has a bath etc.
If they havent gone by 6 months then take him to the doctor.
Olivia had them but they cleared up after a while.
Hope this helps (i know they dont look very nice!)
Take care Stacey & 19wk Old Olivia x x x
p.s if you want any info on them google milk spots and theres lots of info. Dont put no creams on them.
