i'm 7wk+4 and just want to sleep sleep sleep all day and all night long! i could just go for a nap right now... even if i get 10+ hours a night i still find i don't want to get up in the morning. i have just hoovered too and thats about all i can manage! luckily i'm on day off today but i'm finding it really hard at work to have any energy and i'm getting awful morning sickness which is draining me as i'm finding it hard to eat. find myself nodding off at work on my lunch or if i'm sitting down. i'm finding it quite hard because in my job i'm on my feet all day long! dreading work tomorrow!!

Now Ashleigh...dont you be overdoing it...whats this about daily hoovering...you will be giving the rest of us a bad name!lol Mines lucky if it gets a swipe once a week!lol

Tiredness was the big thing for me in the 1st few weeks. Even before I knew I was pregnant I thought I was coming down with a bug or my period was working on me as I hardly left the sofa and was shattered all the time.

Morning sickness....you might be one of the lucky ones and skip that chapter altogether!

hi ashleigh,

congrats on your pregnancy! i'm fairly new to this board as well, had my first scan on saturday at a walk-in early pregnancy unit and found out i'm 9 weeks + 5 days today. i found out i was pregnant 3 weeks ago after the doctor confirmed it, was unplanned and a complete shock but i'm happy about it!

don't worry about not having any symptoms, i've had morning sickness on and off and when i don't have it i fret that i'm not really pregnant, i think a lot of women feel like this. i didn't feel it was real til i had that scan. the tiredness is definitely a symptom though, i feel like i have a constant hangover and i think my boss is getting slightly peeved with me as i've had to come in late a couple of times when i've been sick.

i just want to quit my job and be left to be tired and sick in the comfort of my own home!

have you been to the doctors yet to get booked in with a hospital?

Laura x
