"Anyone else have morning sickness at work?"
Posted by lauramary 12 May  at  13:47

i've come in late for work twice now due to feeling sick and dizzy when i get up in the mornings and i'm starting to feel like a slacker. i've also been in late when i've had doctors appointments and am worried about what my boss is thinking. he knows i'm pregnant and from the start was very nice about it and said if there's anything he can do or if i need time off etc but i still feel like i'm taking the p**s somewhat.

i came in 2 hours late this morning and now i've been sick twice and need to go home coz i feel so rough and tired.

is anyone else experiencing similar and how have your bosses and colleagues reacted?

It was over the Xmas period! I was always off work and felt awful! I would go into work, then end up coming home! I felt like I was taking the ... as well!

BUT just remember your work are not legally allowed to count "pregnancy sickness" towards your normal sickness. So you can have as much time off as you need - they aren't allowed to discriminate against you in anyway!

The sickness will pass (mine has - even though I thought it never would!!). You will then feel so much better and your boss will forget all about the time off you've had! Mine certainly have!
