Cant believe your 39wks!!! God thats gone so quick!

Sorry your feeling like that. I never got to 39wks so i cant imagine how your feeling. You could try evening primrose oil. Google it and that can help get you going.

Thing what got me going was walking (i understand how hard it is!) I also took my RLT from 32wks. Had a hot curry (which you said you didnt like) every week.
You could always try a DIY sweep!

Has everyone says they will only come when they are ready. Try make the most of your time till she comes. I know you will be feeling impatient but enjoy it while it lasts. Sleepless nights are coming to get you!

Take care & let me know how you get on.
Have you still got my mob number??

sorry I've been so elusive, we still have no internet at home, and I have been checking at work, hence my lack of posts, as I like to spend as little time here as poss now I'm on leave!!

Well I'm 39 weeks today, and I really could do without this hot weather, it's killing me! I'm trying with all my might to get this baby out, but to no avail. So far I've tried:

- bouncing on birthing ball
- tweaking my nipples
- eating fresh pineapple every day
- walking until exhausted (not very far!)
- sex

I'm in so much pain in my low back and bum that I keep thinking something must be happening, but I've felt this way for two weeks now. Can anyone help??? I hate curry, so that ones out!

Desperate Em and wriggly 39 week girl bump xxx

I was 2 weeeks over , baby Thomas only 1 week today and I had to be induced, he would not budge! I tried everything but it didnt work,

when/if you get to your due date moan loads about the pain and request a sweep as this will tell you how far dilated you are and bring on the labour.

It didnt work for me as I was only 1cm dilated and I have a tilted womb which meant babys head was not fully pushing on the cervix. But when I found out I was no where near labour it helped me to not get my hopes up and count down the days!! I gave up thinking is today the day!! and just got on with things and just focused on the 42week date.
Many first time mums go over,
Next time I will add 2 weeks onto my due date and just try to think thats when it will be so the time doesn't drag sooo much!

anyway, good luck and hope to hear how it all went, I know how your feeling!
very son you will have bubs and then you will want a few hours back to sleep!
