hello all

iam 20 weeks and 5 days iam going for my scan monday coming iam really exsited as i will find out the sex, at round about 18 week i started feeling it kicking (or as far as iam aware it was kicking) but for the last 5 days i havent felt a thng !!!!!!! what do you think , shall i just wait till my scan and ask midwife there or should i book apointment (i dont want to be going to doctors over something of nothing)

and advice i would be greatful

Kelly, somedays I felt loads of wee bumps at your stage and then some days nothing. My placenta is lying at the front and they said that was why I was not feeling the kicks as much, most of mine are felt low down by my pelvis. Get yourself one of them wee angel dopplers off ebay..I got one early on it was £24 with the gel. Great job for listening to babs and putting my mind at ease when babs wasnt moving/kicking about as much! Speak to your MW just to put your mind at ease.

if you have felt movement in paterns each day then nothing whatsoever its worth just asking your maternity unit if you can be monitored just to put your mind at rest baby could well have shifted position and your just not feeling it sods law they hook you up and he/she will start beating you up again take care xxx

i will phone midwife today as i need to get my blood results anyway , thank you
