Hi
Are you breastfeeding? as this is perfectly normal and in fact expected of a breastfed babe at around this time. If you are breastfeeding i would not recomend giving water between feeds as this could upset feed pattern and your milk supply. Soory i dont know much about formua fed babies as i breast fed my 2 boys and am a peer supporter having done a12week course to help mums with issues on breastfeeding. If you are still concerned talk to your GP as mums instincts are oftrn correct and should always be taken serriously. Take care

Hi Zac is 10 weeks this friday and is only pooing about once every four days! I have read that some babies only go once a week, can this be right?? Theres quite a lot when he does go and its still mustardy yellow and normaly consistency (sorry tmi) but just worried because up until recently he was going about 6=-8 times a day so its quite a sudden change. i told the HV and she looked quite surprised and said to give him water between feeds to loosen him up even though he doesn't seem to be struggling with it. Is anyone else's baby like this?
