Hi there..... My waters broke this morning at 03.30 hrs as a slow trickle, been to the hospital and they have sent me home to wait for labour to start. If nothing hapens before, then I need to go back on Friday at 08.00 hrs to be induced. Very scared now but could have my baby girl before the weekend. Keep your fingers crossed for me ladies xx

This happened with my first. Apparantly if the back waters break it comes out as a trickle(I thot I was weeing self) and it's the front ones that gush. I had a baby 14 hours after this started so hope you progress quickly on your own too. Good luck

Just wanted to say good luck and that hope it all starts before Friday. On my 1st my waters went at 39 weeks at 5pm (but it was more like Niagra Falls than a trickle) and started to get mild contractions around 1am the following morning. You may have tried it already but what about having a hot (but not too hot) bath and see how you go with that. I found that when I had a bath after waters had gone the contractions were really intense.

Hope everything goes well for you, it always gives me butterflies when I hear one of you has gone into labour as I know Ive got to face this just under six months time!!!! Doesnt seem real still!!! (13+1 days)

But good luck for the next hours/days and let me know how everything goes or went when you have sometime to yourself after your baby girl is born.
