I'm not sure if an acidic smell is a sign of a particular point in your cycle but when I was ttc was advised that sperm prefer alkaline conditions. Try to avoid citrus fruits and anything which is likely to make things more acidic and have plenty of foods which make things more alkaline.

Hope this helps.

Hi there,
My hubby and I tried the ovulation sticks one month, and didn't really get it (so simple I know)!!! Every time we've got preg, we've made love every other night from the day I stop bleeding till when I start bleeding again (they say sperm needs 36-48 hrs to mature)!!! I have been pregnant 4 times (although no baby yet), and the longest it has ever taken us is 3 months!!!!
I sometime think that you can get obsesed with the science, and stop your body doing the natural thing!!!!
Good luck with ttc, I hope that you get pregnant soon!!!
xxx.

Im not sure about the ovulation calendars...I was using them for months and got no where. The best way is to do the opt pee sticks and chart them with your temps on Fertility freind.com. Did you try the Sperm meets Egg plan? Sounds like you might have ovulated early...cd6/7 with the stretchy CM that being 6/7May...as long as your BD every other day around that time until 2days after you notice a shift in your temps..ie indicating you have ovulated then you should be covered ok. If you did ov early that would leave your AF due 14days after (Luteal phase always last 14/15 days after ov), ie 21 May..bringing your AF early. If your normally reg then count 14days back from your day that you think AF will come(27 May)...that would leave you ovulating around 13/14 May. I didnt have the EWCM the month I got pregers so dont always go by that.

Fingers crossed you get your BFP this month...keep us posted how you get on!
