I also had this discharge early on, in fact I then had it on & off until 13 & 1/2 weeks. Had 4 early miscarriages in past so was very worried, but am now 19+1 and baby is still fine.
I would do a test now, at least then you can go to doctor & they should do an early scan because of your history - at least then you will know for sure.

Hey, I haven't been on the expecting board for a while, I've been ttc for the past 3 months, after having a 3 month break after my 2 m/c's. Well, my af was due yesterday and is always always on time. The night before it was due I had a feeling for a while like I was about to come on, I really thought I was going to, then I had a small amount of brownish discharge after sex when I went to the toilet. Yesterday when my af was meant to arrive, I had a crampy feeling all day but nothing happened. Then today the crampy feeling has gone and nothing happened until about 6pm, when I had another small amount of brownish discharge (kind of watery as well, sorry for tmi!) That was over 3 hours ago and nothing more has come out. I don't know whether it could be implantation bleeding or my af taking its time to get going. I'm too scared to test at the moment, especially becoz of my m/c's, incase it is positive and then goes on to go wrong again. Is there anyone here that had implantation bleeding at the start of their pregnancies or can relate to what I am going throught at the moment. I just want some thoughts and opinions really as I'm driving myself kind of mad thinkin about it all. Hope you can help, thanx x

yes i had that too on my last pregnancy, i thought it was my period as it was red and lasted for 2 days, it was only when i tested pos 2 days later i knew what it was. i remember thinking as well i had loads of crampy pain and thinking it was AF and feeling a bit gutted, but it wasnt at all! good luck xxx

I had browninsh discharge - just a bit - 2 days before AF was due. I tested on the day AF was due to arrive (using the cheapest test in the world) and got BFP.

I have also had 2 m/c's so know exactly how you're feeling - fingers crossed all is well with this one - have had 3 scans now and everything looks OK.

Best of luck

I had a m/c in June last year and fell pregnant in September. I had a dull crampy feeling around the time my af was due and was convinced i was going to come on, a week after af was due i took the test and was positive. I still had the crampy period type pains up until i was about 13 weeks, and had a dark brown discharge on and off for 2 weeks, which i believe is the implantation bleed.
I was convinced i was loosing this baby too, but the weeks went by and she is doing really well and now nearly only 2 weeks to go!!!

The only way to put your mind at rest really is to take the test, it will stop you driving yourself crazy thinking am i , arnt i, but i completely understand why you are scared too. Maybe wait a little longer just to be certain. If you do a test, get a early prediction one as the level of hormones needed to detect the pregnancy is much lower than the normal ones.

Good luck, fingers crossed for you hun.

I did a test this morning with a clear blue digital and it came back negative. I wasn't really expecting that, was thinking more about it being positive and being worried that sumthin could be wrong again. I still haven't started my af, had a little bit more brown light discharge this morning when I wiped and nothing at all now for about the past 2 and a half hours. Am still confused Am I definitely not pregnant, coz I know that the clear blue ones are really good, or should I test again in a few days if nothing turns up?? Did anyone have a negative around the time of their af or just after and then go on to have a positive, or am I being too hopeful?
Thanx for all your advice xx
