Might be silly i know but there are all sorts of questions I have but im not sure who to discuss them with. My main once being : During the daytime should the baby when it wants to sleep be taken back to it's room to sleep or should it sleep near where I am in the house etc. I was thinking if I bought a Moses basket I could have the baby in the living room with me for the day and then take her to bed at night. .......

Any advice from mums would be great.

Help.

Delly and pink bump x

This is my 1st baby too and its funny all the wee things we think of...like will I be able to breast feed baby during Desparate Housewives so that she is quite for the 1hr!lol

I too was thinking the moses basket would be a good idea for during the day in the living room so baby can nap there and get a good stretch out....I have got a bouncer for baby too, but I read that they arent to be left in them for long period of time as its not good for their spine. Im hoping everything will become clear once babs comes along and we get into our wee routine! tc Sharon 24+4wk pink bump xx

I've always done exactly what you've said and put them in cradle in my room just at night. During the day they have so many naps some of which are quite short that you can't be running back and forth to the bedroom. It's not practical. When babies get a bit older and you're trying to get them to stay in cots and not want in your bed with you, it is suggested that you put them in their cot for all naps but this is when they're bigger and only going for one or two naps, so yes I would get a Moses basket for the living room.

about how I can implement that regime from the TV show Bringing Up Baby where they feed every 4 hours and be dead strict with the babies so it will leave me time to tend/play with other baby who will be 11 months old and the other children too. And time for this forum too (cos I'll miss it) and run the house etc. Aaaaah
I know it won't happen, this baby will run rings round me just like all the others and I'll be it's slave. lol
