can someone tell me what is important to ask at this visit and also, what is going to be checked ? i know that normally the gp will measure my belly, test my urine. what else ?
i would like to ask for the glucose test, and also, pre-eclampsia and then, to confirm my number of weeks pregnancy because a lot of people find me a little bit "big" my 24 weeks.
what is your experience ?

I would definately ask for the diabetes test if it is worrying you, you could also see what you GP thinks of your plans for stopping work, they may be able to advise you.

Also, i will ask him if it is possible to have 1 day per week to relax. A collegue at work asked for that to her GP and she got every wednesday off, paid of course. I dont know how hot it will be this summer but it might be good to cut the week in two and to have a rest at home, no train to take, no bus to catch, no alarm clock to set up and mainly, enjoying a little nap after the lunch...

Taking a day off a week is a great idea, especially during the summer. Wish I could, but then I'm not pregenant! Women shouldn't be afriad to ask for this sort of things.
