and tell me what crown to rump measurement your baby had at 12 week scan?

Thing is, I went for a scan last week. It was not a dating scan as such, just on EPU due to earlier m/c's, so midwife didn't comment on my dates.

My baby's crown to rump length was 8.7cm which seems, from what I've read, to be a bit on the large side and would be more normal if I were 14+ weeks!

13 weeks today (or so I thought)

10.8cm crown to rump at my 12 week scan which i was 12+2 i think they said oh your having another large one but ive had 2 growth scans so far and his growth seems to have slowed down and hes almost on the "normal" size range now so dont worry xx

i had my scan when i was 13weeks and 5 days and mine was 96mm so 9.6 cm, which is also on the large side but they measure by the brain i think so must just have been nicking all your food if they havent mentioned anything then all should be ok!

Hey Lisa....I went for my 12wk scan and the consultant put my back a week to 11wks going by babs size....(havent got my chart with me to give you measurement). Then when I went for 15wk and 23wk scan they put me back in and around my original dates measurements 24+4wk. I think its very hard for them to give an acurate measurement early on, only in the later scans when babs gets bigger, they will be able to get a clearer picture. I hope they will officially put my EDD back to the orig one when I get to see the consultant at 32wks as I feel massive already! ....my 12 week measurement was 5.5cm they didnt comment on his size one way or the other, but by the time i had my 20 week scan, he was 50% bigger than average. they didnt make anything of it then either, but it all evened out in the end and he was a healthy 7lb 130z when he was born.
