"Not at all" Posted by hopeful9 24 May at 12:43
I stopped at around 32 weeks as it had been quite stressful and my boss had been making my life really difficult. I have absolutely no regrets about going so early and I've not found time to be bored yet.
Have spent time: Getting house ready Meeting friends Sewing Reading Yoga
Is it possible to find a less stressful job?

"Hi" Posted by jules3010 23 May at 10:28
I gave up work at 34 weeks due to having lots of holiday oweing, I am now in my 3rd week off and really bored. I don't know how anyone can not work and not go stir crazy - although sure once little one is here my days will be much fuller. I have completed all of the little things I needed to do around the house/garden already so I now have 3 weeks to try and fill.
I think I read on another thread that you were only 20 weeks - so my advice would be to go back to work for a bit. Up until 34 weeks I was working full time in a busy job, looking after my horse on a DIY basis, plus had my usual household tasks to do and a dog to walk - I have to say I was a lot happier when I had a million things to do - plus I was no doubt an awful lot healthier too.
Julie 37+2 and very bored!!

"........nope, not missing it because...." Posted by confused79 22 May at 22:08
.....I'm still working!
I couldn't imagine finishing work so early. I'm sssooo not ready to finish at all. I'm coming into my 32nd week and am hoping to work right up until a couple of days before my due date (21st Jul) I don't feel any different in myself (apart from the babies head stuck under my rib cage which isn't too comfortable)
I will be gutted when I finish. It will feel like the end of being a carefree career minded woman.....giving the Audi TT back and taking the car allowance whilst I'm off instead (so I should be better off money wise for a bit as well) and then when I do go back I'll end up picking a "practical" car that can take car seats, bugaboo's and baby sick, what a pleasing thought!
I sold my horse 3 weeks ago (gutted) my trailer is on e-bay, freeing up some cash for baby things.....in my moms words she said I've "finally grown up"!!
How long have you got left? Couldn't you go back to work for a bit?

"Yes,yes,yes...." Posted by mrsxmoo 22 May at 20:57
Some days I so busy my feet don't the ground and others I'm so bored!!. There's only so much house work you can do, and I'm not a TV person, but I console myself with the fact that in less than 14wks, I'll be a fully fledged mother on speed!!! and I will look back on these times and think why didn't make the most of them, so thats exactly what I'm trying to do, with out being to bored of course. Making the most of these quiet times, because lord knows I don't think I'll be experiencing them any time soon after the wee man is born.
Hugs Mrs Moo xx 26+2wks

"So glad to be off work" Posted by 5reloaded5 23 May at 02:00
But too far on to do the things I'd like like serious spring cleaning, go for a swim and going round the shops is getn hard too but if your not so far on you could do anything. I used to love having a day off work and going to the cinema in the morning when theres only 3 or 4 folk there. My OH (who wouldnt have the confidence to do this on his own) used to say did we all sit together and have a chat afterwards? Cheek. I always visit library when I'm not at work and catch up on loads of books, some trashy and some more productive.
