"Aww hun." Posted by kelseyandbaby1 24 May at 01:20
Men are such arseholes lol. I thought i'd never lose my babyfat after i had Jakob. I pretty much starved myself. I was wondering why i couldn't get in a pair of my old jeans after 2weeks! I felt like i was so ugly. Like i was just a Mum and i'd never be attractive to my man again. Don't worry the feeling will fade i'm skinner than i was before having Jakob. I'm a size 8 now. Don't listen to your OH he probably was joking, but it gets to ya. xx Kelsey and Jakob 6 1/2 months xx

"I know how you feel..." Posted by louisey2 23 May at 20:57
I think it doesnt help wearing...what i call 'my scruffs' or my maternity wear...and i know it will be a while longer before i feel like pampering myself (or having the time) my baby is only 2 weeks and a few days but i am having trouble adjusting, she has colic so i dont have that much time to do anything (needs holding alot..)
i keep looking at my toe nails and thinking ...must trim them...they look like claws and i still havent had the time to do them (although i suppose my pampering time is spent having a look on the internet and emailing!!)
Like the other ladies say..it gets better and you will soon have the time for some pampering whatever that may be (hairdressers? spa or even a nice long walk...)
Take care,
Lou & 2 week old Lottie xx

"This is normal" Posted by 5reloaded5 23 May at 14:50
I've had 4 babies and always feel this way for a while. I think its cos when youre pg theres a reason why your big etc and after the babies born theres the harsh reality of a different body. Each one I've had has produced more and more of them purpley red veiny marks on legs. They now look like a very old ladies. I used to get very upset as had thot they were a best feature and now I would never ever display them. Any free time I got during the first few weeks were for sleeping not blowing dry hair or applying make up so its easy to start feeling bad about yourself. Things generally work themselves out as the babies get easier to care for and you start pampering self again. I start to feel better when I get organised enough to get to weight watchers as I just gain loads and loads when pg, but these things take time. And having to wear your maternity clothes AFTER having baby doesn't help you feel good either. Last year after having baby 4 I threw all my shopping about Somerfield and started crying. I had the baby with me and Jude who was 4. One of my neighbours was in the shop and saved me. She took me home and told Charles I was going into hers for a bit. I was mortified and never returned to supermarket until I had a new hairdo and looked different. Just go with it the now. It'll pass
