I thought Id introduce myself today, as Ive reached 6 weeks and havent had any problems so far. I was feeling too nervous to come on this page since my bfp!!
Well Im 31 years old and have been bending the ears of the girls on the ttc page for a few months and had great support from them all. My DH and I have been trying to start a family for 1 year and have had two m/c's, one last August 07 (9 weeks), and 2nd was in January 08(7 weeks). Since this last one i have been charting and temping and getting altogether obsessed but was lucky to get my bfp 2 weeks ago.
I made loads of changes this year ie cut out caffiene, cut out the sweetner aspartame, and started having accupuncture regularly and also taking aspirin- I know this wasnt prescibed but as a nurse I felt it wouldnt hurt and i couldnt bear to wait the three m/c's to have any tests so have taken to doing my own research.
But this pregnancy feels sooo different which is really exciting, basically I feel awful, never been this sick ever before to the point where i feel I cant do anything. I cant stand most food and havent cooked anything all week, cant face even being in the kitchen which is so weird as I never usually let my oh cook and its one of my fav hobbies, even felt sick watching the f word this week and I love Gordo!!! Had a craving for cornflakes, which I havent had for years too!!
I am seeing my gp on tues to book in and am really hoping this ones gonna stick, as I have been so desperate for a baby for years, anyway am looking forward to chatting to you all, and am enjoying reading the discussions,
thanks for reading if you have got this far ha ha rach xxxxx (6 weeks)

on your pregnancy. Hope it all goes great this time. Could you please tell what DH is. I asked recently about a few abbreviations that I don't know and someone guessed at Darling Husband but wasn't sure. Anyone tell me what Imao is too? Sorry, Rach, to go off on tangent. Congrats again

Hey Rach
Glad you made it over lol I can understand you being weary though. I had a m/c last Aug at 5 wks but like you, this preg feels so diff. I had really early symptoms this time too.
Feel free to IM any time but you'll find the girls here great, I've done my fair share of bleating lol
All the best

Best of luck xxx
