im just 6 weeks pregnant bin with my boyfriend 5 months im 34 and hes 38.....iv already got 1 child whos 6 from a previous relationship....he goes to his dads every weekend.i work partime and live on my own,my boyfirend has his own house.over the last month i kept feeling that i didnt feel attracted to my boyfriend as i should and that i kept picking faults in his dress sence etc...we kept rowing then i found out i was preg last week.i split up with him at the weekend caus i thought i cant be with someone if the feelings arnt there.he booked a holiday for us in the beginning of july.he wants me back and wants the baby hes devestated at the thought of it all and i dont know what to do,the thing is he bores me although he is financially secure.......help

Congratulations on your pregnancy! It does take time to get your head round things when you first find out your pregnant...but you said you had doubts about your relationship even before you knew you were pregnant...so it may not be the hormones playing you up already. Give yourself time to think what you want to do for yourself...dont let your boyfriend put any pressure on you...if the attraction isnt there it isnt there! In saying that maybe a bit of space away from him and you might discover that you want to be with him? It has to be your choice.

you can;t stay with someone if you aren;t attracted to them if your picking up things now what happens in a year or two? theres no reason for you not to stay on friendly terms and for him to be as involved in the baby's life as you both want at the end of the day its sometimes better to be appart and have a good relationship than stay together for the sake of the child and all end up miserable good luck xxx
