Morning ladies and gents if theres any immaculate conceptions out there!
Hay-fever, I'm a huge, big, bad sufferer to point that my noses drips, my ears become all gunky,I develope bags under my eyes,my nose becomes painfully sore inside and my throat goes dry and I also wake up with crash headaches from all the stuffiness.
Now I have been able to keep it a bay since spring~April-ish with some pills the Dr gave me, which are actually children's medication, but.. Oh boy has it hit me hard these last two days. Now the problem I have is..I'm in Germany the meds the Dr's issue here will I presume be different to what can be issued in the UK. So I was kind of hoping that there may be a fellow sufferer out there in the same boat, knowing that the meds that your allowed to take while pregnant is extremely limited, and you may just be on some thing wonderful that keeps this nasty allergy at bay. Bare in mind I use to be on the injection up until this year, and then still had to use the eye drops to stop the bags and nose cream to stop the pain and I have since found out that the Injection has actually been banned due to adverse side effects!!!
So Please,Please can any one help? Its got to be a prescription drug, as over the counter don't even touch the sides and some thing that has clinically be proven to work on the most severe cases and also not forgetting the added extra of not harming a pregnancy.
Righty t-oh..thats my waffling over..sorry for the essay.
I live in hope. Hugs Mrs Moo xx 27+3wk

Bless you hun (no pun intended, hehe!), I get horrible hay hever and am also allergic to my cat (yet love her too much to let her go!), so I was taking antihistamines every day, all year round, I gave them up when trying to conceive as I'd heard they didn't help there either, and now I'm pregnant although I can just about cope round my cat the hay fever is a different story and I just feel pants.
It sounds ike you are a chronic sufferer (worse than me probably) - and I'm not sure what help I can offer you from a medication point of view, but I wondered if you'd heard this tip - LOADS of people keep telling me that if you can try and have some honey every day thats locally produced (locally being the important bit) then that apparently helps a bit, something to do with the pollen and it being a bit like a vaccination approach almost?! I've not tried it yet myself, but I will do, and I suspect you'll need something stronger by the sounds of it, but might be worth a try alongside.
Good luck! N xx
