Hi girls sorry I haven't been on here for a while as it's been so stressful and hectic here I just haven't had a chance to say hello to you all for sometime. So do hope you and bumps and babies are happy and healthy.xx

Well here goes (long one I'm afraid)

Week last Friday my dad was coming home from a lovely holiday on a criuse ship down in Southampton. He was suppose to be getting off at 9.30am but his porter couldn't get a reponse from knocking on the door of his cabin. To cut a long story short Dad has had a brain Hemmorrage and is in Southampton General! Me and OH, brother and wife all got down there at 1am! Stayed with him all night then got a hotel on the harbour so near to the hospital. We stayed til the Monday morning last week but had to go back as I had my first scan so had to get back for that, then we travelled back down the same day to be back with Dad.

The scan girls was the happiest moment of our lives, actually seeing this little wriggley and kicking bean so healthy and full of life, which made us feel so relieved that everything is ok. I still can't believe that I'm having a baby as it doesn't seem that real still at the moment!!

But with that we went back down to Southampton (takes just over 4 hours to get down there) to be with Dad and came back on Friday as I was so tired that I needed a decent nights sleep. We are going back tomorrow but are going to drive down and back again in a day as we both need to be back at work otherwise the money doesn't appear from nowhere.

Dad is stable and has come out of a coma but it is going to be a long haul and not knowing the answer to what the future brings with Dad.

It's a shame that its turned out like this as I was so excited not just for me but for Dad as I know he was so looking forward to having a new grandchild to hold again.

Oh well, I am keeping postive and hope everything will sort itself out, as I know Dad is a strong person.

thats awful news about your dad, cant be at all easy for you when its a stressful time as it is aswell and with all the travelling must be an absolute nightmare for you all at the moment.

really hope your dad gets better as soon as possible.
