went to see the consultant today and I have been booked in tomorrow for an induction. I'm 41+3 days which is still early for an induction but i'm in so much pain with ribs and spd that they decided to book me in.

Has anyone on here had an induction - what should i expect?? as I am getting a little anxious now eeeeekkk!!!

tomorrow. Here's hoping you only need your waters broke which at the stage your at is really likely.
Then it's no bother after that. Take mags and your own Gaviscon if you've still got heartburn cos you only get the measured dose from them xxxxxxx

i was induced on my first 10yrs ago so things may have changed since but from what i remember they pop some gel or pessary inside to get things moving if your cervix is really favourable already only one lot of gel may work sometimes you may need a few aplications.
also my friend was induced a few weeks ago and she was already a few cms dilated already to they just broke her waters an contractions started.
