hi girls i went for a private scan last week and they told me i was around 6 and a half weeks. I worked out from my last period that i would have been 7 weeks and 5 days. i then had my normal scan come through a week later which was wednesday expecting them to say i was 7 and a half weeks(going from my last scan) she dated the pregnancy at 6 weeks and 3 days. I said that my other scan dated me further and she did say that i would know more at my 12 week scan as it is so small to make an accurate date. But i cant help but worry that my baby isnt growing or somethings wrong. I saw the heart beat on both scans and they both said the baby looks fine. I just cant wait for my 12 week scan!

has anyone had this happen when they keep back dating the pregnancy. From my last period it works out that im 9 weeks today, my first scan 7 weeks and 4 days and my last scan 6 weeks and 6 days so who knows!

Don't worry about the dates yet!!! I had a 12 week scan, which put me 5 days ahead of where I thought I was. The following day I had the downs testing scan, and he dated me 3 different dates, but the baby was curled up!!! I think it depends on the position of the baby!!! On my dating scan the baby was layed out, so I'm going by that date!!!!
Hope your 12 week scan will be better date-wise for you!!!
