When I was having my eldest (who's 17 next month). I was further along than you though and I was kept in hosp and induced. It happened to me a week before I was due anyway. But because of my previous problems they are monitoring me closely for this pregnancy (pregnancy No2 14 years ago was fine. This is pregnancy No 3). I'd be interested to see what they decide to do for you. It may be that they can give you some medication to bring your BP down. Don't worry though, as I'm sure they will keep an eye on you and worrying could make things worse. Good luck with everything and keep us posted. Luv Sarah and blue peanut (31 wks)

| Thread started by: | "High blood pressure & protein" Posted by carolyn3101 23 June at 16:01
Had the midwife out Sat & Sun got high blood pressure and a tiny bit of protein in water on Saturday, came again Sunday and blood pressure the same Protein gone.
Im getting really paranoid now, she told me to watch out for headaches and i keep imagining that i do have a bad head but i think its tiredness!
Im only 32 weeks on Wednesday and really cant be doing with going into Hospital this early on and more importantly having the baby really early, i want it to be as healthy as possible!
has anybody else had these problems???
Thanks Caz + 31wk bump (nearly 32)

Hi,
I had the same thing last week - protein was +1 and blood pressure was higher than usual. I went into the hospital yesterday so that they could monitor the baby and everything was fine. They took my blood pressure again which was fine and urine was clear. It really makes a difference to your blood pressure when you are relaxed so try your best to do that! I also imagined the headaches etc but I am sure you will know when it's the real thing!
Hope everything goes well!
