it must be twice as rewarding with alot of hard work how did you manage in the first year with two babies would love some advice thanks

sorry i have only just read your message!

it was hard work. there was no getting away from it. you have to remember they are two different babies-they will have different sleeping, eating patterns.

when we went home my partner and i picked one each night and stuck with it-if yours was awake all night with wind it was tough! i honestly believe i wouldnt of coped on my own. i had to make at least 12 bottles up at a time.

when my partner went back to work after 2 weeks i cried my eyes out! i thought how can you leave me here with these two crying babies!

like i said on another post i would never be without them, i love them to bits and they are great kids. they play well-have the odd arguments but on the whole they are great.

at the end of the day if twins are your first born you have nothing to compair it to-you just get on with it.

im sure you will get on just fine-we did! its very special to have twins and i believe they are not handed out lightly!lol

my top tips are

* you must get those little bouncy chair things-a must for feeding(you cant feed 2 at once!) you can put them both in and prop the milk under a cusion(while your sat watching of course!) they are also great when you first start weaning.

* dont mess with them-especially as they get older-offer something if they dont want it forget it, move to the next one.

*always put them down awake for bed-other wise you will end up with 2 crying babies that both want to be rocked off to sleep

hope that helps(and i havent put you off too much! lol)
you will manage just fine
