well i went to see my mw yest an my bp was really high so she sent me to the hosp for monitoring i thought it was pointless cos i new when i got there my bp wud be down and yes when i got there bp was on its way down but they monitored me anyway for an hour an then sent me home.

i got home had tea an went to bed to be woken up by the worst pain ever in my side and in the end had to have an ambulance to the hosp cos pain was so bad i new i wasnt in labour they thought it was my apendix and kept me in all night its turns out it was my bowel an a build up of gases an baby was lying on my bowl thats why i thought i would die from the pain lol.

it was a nitemare nite they couldnt get blood at all so i was a pin cushion they also tried checking my cervix with a specular but couldnt see so they came in with this huge torch to have a look up there god i can laugh now but at the time i was in agony an balling anyway cervix was really high an far back so no sighn of babs.
they wanted to keep me in but had no beds so i had to stay in day assessment on a trolley all night arrrh never again!

Ahh Shell you must have been scarred sh**less! Its the not knowing too coupled with the immense pain...you poor thing. God I hope I dont get that! Looking back now that its over you can have a wee cuckle, but I would say at the time you were climbing the walls! The torch bit..that was funny!lol ...but as I say at the time not soo!

I had a lot of wind at the beginning which is getting better now, but hell, if it comes back like it happened to you I think they'll need to call the men in white jackets for me!!

God, I can imagine what the pain was like, I only experienced a fraction of the delightful "trapped wind" pain on Saturday night, was crawling on all fours and nearly vomiting, screaming at OH I wanted drugs and an epidural in labour!! he made the mistake of saying but you said you were admament no epidural, after 2 hours and finally "passed the wind" to put it nicely, oh my the relief!

Please you are okay now thogh Chelle! Many weeks are you now? Sure you are 2 or 3 ahead of me?
