Hi ladies.
Ok I am 8 weeks pregnant and really scared. I have had 3 m/c in the last 12 months and feel very anxious. I have some light period pains and also some other pains lower down. Is this all normal. I no things are strtching and making room. Have had sickness most days but worry when its not every day. I no that might sound silly but makes me feel better when I have it. Have sore boobs and feel tired so all the symptoms are there but get so worried when I don't have them for a day or so. Did all you ladies have the symptoms everyday once you got them?
I no its normal to feel like this but I really want to not worry as its not good for the baby.
Sorry to moan on. Hope you are all well.
Thanks
Vic xx

"I understand"

Im so happy for you Congratulations.
I understand how you are feeling,
I have had 5 Miscarriages and one Ectopic.
I have a beautiful boy who is 2 years old now, and when I was pregnant with him I had heaps of period pain feeling.
I worried myself sick, always running to the toliet every 5 mins to make sure that everything was ok.
I felt exactly like Clare said in her message.

I am now 28 weeks pregnant and also with this pregnancy I had period pain feeling.

With both pregnancy I had morning sickness.
When I was pregnant with my son I had morning sickness, but some days I had no sickness, then the next day it would return.
Its normal to have period pain feeling,
I think we feel it more because we really focus on everything that is happening to our body.
Everything will be ok.

If I'm not "in pain, feeling sick or my boobs don't hurt" then I start to panic.

The only advice I can give is "let it be" and eventually all the boob aches, mornining/afernoon/evening/all day sicknes will come back.

I was exactly the same, had 3 m/c's and worried myself sick for the first 12 weeks with this one. My symptoms were stronger some days than others and everytime they eased off I convinced myself it was all going wrong again, was running to the loo every 5 minutes to check. Made myself utterly miserable to be honest and didn't believe for one minute that things would be ok this time. I'm 20+4 weeks now and still going strong, got my scan today and still feel a bit nervous but feeling lots of movement now so that really helps put your mind at rest. I had loads of the period pains you mentioned in the early stages and they worried me at the time but thinking about it I didn't have these with the pregnancies I lost so really do think they're a good sign, like you said everything stretching and making room. When's your first scan, do you have a date yet? I was terrified at mine but it does help you start to relax when you see there is actually a baby in there! Might be worth having a word with your m/w if it's not for a few weeks yet, just explain how worried you are, with your history you really should get an early scan but you sometimes have to push for it. Want to tell you to try and relax but it'd be a bit hypocritical cos I couldn't, just try and look after yourself and keep as calm as you can. Never thought I'd make it this far but I have so try and take some comfort from that. Take care hun,

Lotsa love,
Clare xxx

Thank you to all you ladies. And her is Claire again making me feel better - you have been there for me from my first miscarriage reassurring me as I no you have been through the same. Just goes to show you can get there. Thanks again. You are all so lovely and helpful.

Hello there,

I'm nearly 7 months pregnat now and I understand you completely. It's quite normal for you to have those ' period craps' at the begining I had those aswell. I was never sick though I just and still do, have problems to eat correctly ( no appetite at all) but my doc said I was the one who loosing weight and not the baby ( I lost weight in the begining). Symptoms do reassure you but Im glad that I was not ill. So don't worry - too much don't drink too much tea ( tea prevents iron from combining with Vitamin D to make red blood cells)get loads of sleep and enjoy your pregnancy.
When he/she will get giving U those lil kicks at aroung 4 or 5 months U'll like it!!!
