hi
I haven't been on here in ages!
I have an 8 and a half month old daughter, and I can sympathise with the vomiting - she's prone to it, and we've only just been advised she has suspected reflux.
I expect (reflux or not) you've been given loads of advice, but I found putting a pillow under head end of my little girl's mattress (or cot risers, if you want to buy them) really help. SMA also do a 'Staydown' milk, which is more binding and easier for them to hold down if they have lots of tummy acid.
Aw, I'm jealous, despite the sleepless stage - enjoy your 7 week old...it goes SO fast!!

Hi everyone,
i recently changed formula to aptimel first milk and it doesnt seem to suit my baba as she just keeps vomiting it up and last night we had projectile vomit over me, the couch and my husband.....ive never seen so much sick come from a baby! so back onto sma gold this morning and no vomit as yet (fingers crossed it was just the formula change)
we went and got baby gaviscon from the doctors the other day thinking it might help with the colic and possible reflux? although dont think it is reflux now... think i might let her poor little tum settle before i start using it!
ah the joys......
oh and my little darling has started to poo up her back now with the most explosive poos! so lots of washing!! New mums get through alot of washing detergent!
Just having a moan.... ;+)....but she is still the cutist thing!
ps hope i dont put any 'mums to be' off (he he)
Lou & little handfull Lottie (7 wks) xx

to look for photo's of little lottie, I can't seem to get on a profile for you, are you on the facebook So Fem group?
Didn't know they did baby gaviscon, but you're probably right to let Lotties stomach settle to see if she really needs it before using it.
It's horrible when they're sick isn ... Eleanor wasn't sick for the 1st time until David had gone back to work, I was on my own and wondered what the hell to do! Haha, I was some what of a novice, funny how now everything comes to naturally! Luckily Eleanor isn't usually a very sickly baby, we tend to only get trouble if she doesn't get her wind up after a feed.
Eleanor went through a stage of having poo all up her back - yuk! Haven't had that for a few weeks now though, touch wood it stays that way!

she was a little sick again before but managed to get her to sleep now and she is snoring!!
Rachael, i took most of my profile off including my photo as i kept on getting emails from all sorts of weirdos....is it through 'myworld' at the top of this sofem site that you put your profile? Do you get any weird emails coming through? I kept on having to block loads of them and then gave up and deleted my photo!
Yeh,about the proj.vomit .....its quite scary when they are that sick, its funny to see their little faces afterwards as well, they look all shocked and quiet (probably trying to fathom out why all of a sudden they are starving again!)
ps did you find a dummy helped?
Lou xx
