i have used tescos all the way through and have to say they r brill everybody i have told about them have now all started using them because they r cheaper but also my friend found them better than huggies because she ran out of the tesco went and bought a pack of huggies and her littel boy soaked straight throw yet he hadnt with tescos i buy a big pack which mine are now size 5 and they only cost 598 and thats for fifty nappies for newborn i think there are 72 nappies for the same price think of the money u will save because tesco and pampers are almost double wot u would pay all the best deciding leanne

Could I as you new mums or mums with children already which is the best, Pampers or Huggies as I've just been buying little bottom draw things at the moment until I know what I'm having. But just wondered about the nappy part as some mums have said Pampers and some have said Huggies, what are the pros and cons on both????

Any thoughts please and help on this one!!!!

hey there.. i spent ages using huggies n pampers but they were never good on. Then tried tescos which were fairly good ...but then i tried lidl nappies cos we got caught short and ive never had a leak with them even with diahorrea. recently re tried huggies and although they didnt leak as such , the wee soaked through 3 nights in a row( not using them again) plus lidl costs 4.99 for 44 nappies. Think they only start at size 2 or 3 though , worth keeping them in mind.

ive found pampers baby dry to be the best my son wet straight throgh the huggies and the pampers active fit were no good

I have bought some Pampers and Huggies but will see how I get on with them both, plus was amazed at Tescos one too, so will buy some of thoses as well as it doesnt hurt to try different ones.

I've found asda's are great, lilys on size 3 now and its 3 packs of 34 i think for £10, very good!

Huggies! I find my son goes straight through pampers and there not night-dry at all. I went through a pack of 40 nappies in 4 days. I'm not sure if its because my son wees too much but I find Huggies alot better.

I can put a huggies nappy on Leo and wont have to change him in the middle of the night like I would with Pampers nappy.

This is just me tho, hope this helps

For the first month or so, definatly pampers, emmy is now in huggies natural fit (size 3!) and they are great for absorbancy, but i would swear by pampers for the first 2 months.

Sorry I cant be of help with the Pampers v Huggies, am going to use Bambino Eco disposables for the 1st couple of weeks and then Im onto the reuseable tots bots. Have you thought about reuseable nappies, they save you a fortune!

I prefer huggies. I used pampers from the begining (as i got loads in before baby come, i had so many coupons for them). But i noticed they started making Olivias bum sore so i switched to huggies. Never had a problem with huggies.
I supose only you will know when your baby arrives. You could always get a pack of each in to try. Or you may be able to get some samples on line. (i know you get a pampers sample with the asda pack).

Its everyones personal choice. They all do the same job.

used both and prefered huggies BUT also someone told me about using tesco's and they are fantastic and much cheaper personally im using reusables this time round as its saving me approx £450 a year!

I found pampers the best with my first as the Huggies gave him nappy rash!
