my girlfriend is 18 and im 20 we found out yesterday that she is pregnant and we both live with ther parents and her sister and 2 brothers i am working full time and she is still at uni iv got some money coming in each month from work and iv got inheratance money come to me too but we cant find any where to live i have money to rent but not buy yet as i havent worked for a year and the councle is no good we have been looking for a flat for 4 months with out luck what should i do and go about it all we both have wanted kids but not this early my girlfriend is also on medication with she couldn't take the pill and we used precorsions her sister is about to have a kid any day now and we dont want them to think that we have done it so we can be like them and iv got to tell my mum this weekend she should be fine with it and i know that it will be difficalt but we are both up for it its just finding somewhere to live

Hi, i know kind of how you feel too at the moment, I'm pregnant and actually looking for somewhere to live too.. even though I'm single the council still is of no help to me, and I'm starting to get worried. It is still worth putting your nema down on the council list and say that you're both living in her parents house in cramped conditions, and they should investigate your case, another option is also renting somewhere privately, and i'm sure what you can't afford, again you can claim benifits or social security from the council.
