hiya, bit of a strange one but i was wondering if the chinese lunar calender predictions have been worng for anyone (age at conception and month determine babys sex) according to the lunar calender i am having a boy but at my 20 week scan the sonographer said she thought it was a girl!?! im really confused and am terrified of buying anything or getting too exited about having a girl!

Fortune baby got it right! That really amazed me as I was convinced the lunar calendar was right!

It has always ben rite when av done it before, for friends etc. This time it said I am havin a boy, but sonographer is 95% sure am havin a girl. Dont think sonographer's are wrong that often, especially if they get a clear view, so I would go with them. Thats wot i'm going to do anyway, Cant wait to start buying all pink!!!

Chinese calender said we were having a girl.... but we're having a boy. It also said I was supposed to be a boy, my partner was supposed to be female, along with various other family members worked out wrong! Lol - I really would'nt get too excited by this - if it says you are having a boy, if I'm anything to go by, start buying pink! Sarah + 38w blue bump x

It has been right for both of mine, boy the first time and now expecting a girl, but I would always believe a scan over a prediction chart! If your sonographer was a little unsure then can you not have a private gender scan to confirm one way or the other? They are pretty cheap these days.

mine predicted a girl all 3 times, i have 2 girls already and 2 scans have confirmed this one is a girl too. so it was right for me but i would trust the scan more than the calendar. why not have a gender scan to see what they say?

yep the chinese calendar was wrong for me too, said boy and I found out today I'm having a girl! They couldn't tell at my 20 week scan so I ended up having a private gender scan at babybond and it was brilliant. Cost £79 and couldn't really afford it but was worth every penny, so much clearer than NHS scans and they threw in a 4D pic for free! Pics will be on my profile as soon as they're validated if you want a nosy.

Lotsa love,
