Ok i know that makes no sense im scared to come and make a mark, im 10wks tomorrow and have had one ectopic and one m/c which happened just in march. I had a scan last week after some bleeding and baby was just fine! yay got first midwife appointment tomorrow and another scan some time soon to check everything is still ok, cant wait for the next 2-3 weeks to pass so i can relax a bit more. Im excited never got this far along. I have never felt so sick! its terrible but its good, as with m/c nausea stopped and i guess that was first sign of what was to come. But this time from time i got BFP until now i feel like throwing up and i just ate a bowl of icecream, was delicious but the bowl by the side of me was making me retch the smell was getting to me! So i hope thats all a good sign. So i kind of dont want to tempt fate by coming here, im still resolutely not telling ANYONE in my family until after the 12 week mark, but im excited this might actually end up with me holding my little baby, and if it does work out my due date is feb 13th. i so hope it comes a day late id love my first baby as a valentines gift and id be in love so its the most perfect present me and OH could give each other.

well done for making the leap into the expecting page, I was the same with telling family, although when my hubby had his appendix out on the day of the scan I ended up telling my parents as I wanted someone to come with me, the sickness is such a good sign and might wear off soon mine went at about 11 weeks so dont worry that is normal!!! take care rach xxx 14

just to say congrats and good luck! I had 3 m/c's before this one and was a nervous wreck for the first 12 weeks too, it has got easier from there though so hope it'll be the same for you. We told most people at around 12 weeks but held off telling my OH's kids til last weekend, just couldn't bear the thought of getting them all excited til we were sure everything was ok. They were over the moon to hear they're gonna have a little sister though so it was worth the wait! All the best hun, got everything crossed for you.
Lotsa love and sticky babydust, Clare 23+2 xxx
