Does anyone have any rememdies for this, or at least something to ease it? I shouldnt complain because it is just nausea, i havent once thrown up. But its making me eat non stop because if i get too hungry i feel like throwing up then if i cook the smells make me want to throw up, then after i eat i feel sick! its a horrible circle. I love it on one hand because after losing 2 babies, the strong symptoms show me this ones still growing. But on the other hand i long for the day i wont feel ill any more. Im 10+1 today, any idea when it might stop any way? I hear about 16 weeks for even the most persistant nausea, am i being hopeful?

I feel sick every day on and off all day. I'm 10+1 weeks today goin by my last scan. I haven't thrown up yet either altho I thought I was goin to a couple of days ago. I was in the car with my fiance driving and I had to get him to pull over quick and I was leaning out of the door for ages but nothin would come up lol. I find that sucking on mints seem to help the most. Ginger beer and ginger biscuits didn't really seem to do much for me. I have also been wearing the travel sickness bands, and sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. As you know I've lost 2 babies aswell so I'm glad of all this but lookin forward to it easin off. I also have a horrible taste in my mouth a lot of the time and feel like I need to keep havin a drink even tho I'm not really actually thirsty. Why do you think that is? x

Im feeling just like you. Ive been feeling terrible and yesterday travelled in a car and was terrible i thought i was about to throw up. The only thing that helps me is lemonade and squash. Before i was pregnant id mostly drink water never liked squash, now i cant stop drinking it makes me feel much less sick. I dont know why, maybe its just to settle the stomach. I havent noticed the horrible taste thing that id read about except for a few days ago it was really strong and horrible. Another thing that i noticed is like a feeling of something being stuck in my throat and chest and it like makes me haha burp but not quite if you know what i mean? i noticed it last pregnancy and its back again, makes eating anything unpleasant, im still tasting it hours later.

they have been my saviour so far! i dont know how much of it is in the mind lol but i have to say whenever i have been feeling sick and had something i have felt better instantly. You can try ginger beer or ginger nut biscuits, and my aunty also recommended ginger bread. I went to a health shop and bought some crystallised ginger. It is basically raw sugarcane but its nice and sweet and itsgreat to nibble on when your feeling nauseated!
hope that it helps you!

Ahhh, it's horrid isn ... ? I had dry heaves up til about 16 weeks when it then passed(was only sick 2 or 3 times), and someone at work suggested sherbet lemons, so you could try those; unfortunately for me it made it 10 times worse, however cola cubes seemed to do the trick!
My nausea has just started creeping back in again now which is a bit annoying as I thought I was safe, so I've got another big bag of cola cubes in my desk at work now....!
Hope you're doing well sicky feelings aside. Love N xx (25+1 pink bump)

definitely not pleasant i have to admit ill try the sucking sweets of some sort. Its a right pain, i had a lovely cooked dinner at my mums house i was looking so forward to i got there in the kitchen and had to run to the bathroom because the smells were just too much. Really spoils the appetite!
Thats so weird i saw my baby at 9 weeks as well! id had a bit of bleeding so they scanned me early and there was my wee baby that was causing me all these problems, not that im complaining honestly. Just want to know how to make it a bit better. No i havent really dropped or added much, except the boobs of course! Im craving bread and bacon so bad i eat it every day my family are making fun of me. Dont think im going to have one of those neat celeb baby bumps at this rate

Hi,
I am 10+1 today and I am feeling exactly the same as you. I cannot stand the smell of cooked food, and my nausea is worse in the evenings. I now try and snack on bananas and biscuits during the day and I am only having pitta bread and taramassalata in the evenings as I do not fancy anything else. Like you, on one hand the symptons are a good thing (and I have already seen my baby at 9 weeks) but I am now willing the sickness to stop (been actually sick twice) so I can cook again and eat with my other half.....
The good news is that I am totally off wine which is a good thing ;0)
Are you losing weight rather than gaining as I am
Natalie (10+1)
