ok i dont know if im really dull or what. I went for my MW appointment and she said about the dating scan which i assumed is like 12 weeks is that right? Well i dont know if she was supposed to tell me the date it would be then, or am i waiting for a letter from the hospital? Because i have my doubts, i know i went on the wrong day for first appointments but im sure we missed some things out, i just feel like i know nothing. no change there then!

some of the forms that the midwife should have filled in during your appointment, your booking in form, she will send off to the hospital and you will get a letter from them confirming your scan date. it took about 10 days for my letter to arrive when i was pregnant with oliver. it does vary area to area tho so yours may be different.

i am waiting to hear from my surgery as to whether the hospital will have me in for a dating scan as i have just found out i am pregnant, but as i have not had a period since giving birth in february, i have absolutely no idea whatsoever how far gone i am!!
