Condoms Condoms can be used as soon as you resume your sex life.
Cervical Cap You may need a bigger size after giving birth.
Contraceptive Injection (Depo-Provera) You can have this five days after birth, but it may be advisable to wait six weeks, as you are less likely to suffer from heavy bleeding, which can occur if the injection is given earlier.
Contraceptive Implant You can have the implant put in three weeks after giving birth. It must be done by a trained doctor. It lasts up to three years.
Combined Pill You can take this three weeks after birth. But it cannot be taken if you are breast feeding.
Mini Pill This can be taken three weeks after birth but it needs to be taken for a week before it is fully effective. It is safe to be taken when breast feeding.
The Coil (IUD) It can be fitted eight weeks after birth (by your GP or family planning clinic) and can last for up to five years.
Female Sterilisation and Vasectomy This should only be undertaken if you are both absolutely sure that you don't want any more children.
Breastfeeding This should not be seen as a reliable form of contraception.
Hope it helps!

Do you mean after the baby comes?? I have heard that a lot of people get pregnant very soon after they have given birth because they thought they couldn't get pregnant, where in fact you are more likely to get pregnant after giving birth because your body has all the pregnancy hormones!!! I know that I've had a few friends who have got pregnant straight away, one has exactly 9 months age gap between her two boys!! I'f it's too early for the pill (Ie your breast feeding), then I'd use another method!!! Enjoy!!! Janice & 19+4 week sprog!! xxx.
