I was SOOOOOO excited when i first found out i was pregnant that i called EVERYONE to let them know. Now, im soooo scared of having a miscarrige (however you spell it) and ticked at myself for telling everyone until i knew that my baby was safe. Its like, you get sooo excite, then within moments, you FREAK OUT!! Is it gonna be normal? Am i eatting right? Will i have a miscarrige? I shouldnt have told ANYONE yet... does anyone out there feel the same way??
please reply and let me know im not CRAZY

Is this your first?

I am 8 weeks with my second just now. Last time I kept it a secret from everyone bar my hubby and mum until 12 weeks
This time I have told everyone, partly because when I found out we had a few big family parties, and everyone would have guessed (no booze and looking green and smiling - dead giveaway I think)
I am aware things can go wrong this early, and like you I have worried a little about this (especially how I would explain it to my son), but as far as friends go, I have had a couple of friends who have had miscarriages having told everyone, and feel that in general the support they had was amazing, and would do it again

So in short you are not crazy, just showing typical levely of early pregnancy paranoia!

Good luck!

"Try not to worry"

Hey, I am nearly 8 weeks pregnant and I told my family and close friends when I was 5 weeks! I dont believe there is a right or wrong time to tell people. If something is going to happen it will whether you have told people or not. Try not to worry as its not good for your baby.

Congratulations x
