I know this question doesn't really belong on this forum but I used this site once or twice while I was pregnant and the relpies were always really useful.

I'm just wondering at what age did everyone put their babies into their own rooms and does anyone have any advice to make the change easier for the little on?

Thanks

was in a moses basket in our room until 6 weeks but i think we were disturbing him. he was disturbing us to as he is a noisey sleeper grunting and groaning etc. s i put his moses basket int his cot in his own room and then he out gew his moses basket at about 10 weeks so i justput im in his cot.
i would efinatly recommend gor bags tho, especially if you have a little wriggler.

was in a moses basket in our room until she was 5 weeks, then I put the cot in our room, and she slept there until about 4 weeks ago, and then she moved in to her own room so she'd have been about 4 months old, very smooth transition, she didn't seem to know any different, slept just the same, went down just as well. I also started using gro bags at 5 weeks when she went into her cot.

...there are loads of us on here who have had our babies but cant tear ourselves away!!

i put oliver in his room at 5 weeks. early i know, but i found he slept better because he wasn't near me and therefore couldn't smell my milk and also, oh's snoring can be quite ridiculous - altho if you ask him, he doesn't snore. obviously.

oliver was in a moses basket in our room so i put that in his room inside his cot to begin with so it felt familiar to him, and he was fine. i get more stressed than he does, in there constantly to check on him!!!

love kelly, oliver 6 months and new 6 week tiny bean
