that you put on your back or if you like in front of you that you strap to yourself and the baby sits in? I've forgotten the name in English and can only remember it in Italian. DO you know what I'm talking about? It's like a back pack.
Also, one other thing that I can't think of in English, it's used inside the cot- the head end, it's padded and it used to protect the baby from hitting it's head on the cot.
Sorry, but my baby vocabulary is currently dominated in Italian and not English.
Thanks girls.

I have the John Lewis baby cat. here!! The first thing is a back carrier (the front ones seem to be called baby carrier).
The other item is a bumper, although they don't recomend that you use them for a few months (my friend is using hers with her new born though)!!!
Could be worth nipping down to John Lewis, mother care etc for a booklet so you can use it to translate!!!
Best of luck,
Janice & 22+4 week Lydia bump. xxx.

I think these are the things you mean!
Mothercare do good versions of both items and the new catalogue is out!
Happy shopping!

I've just written an email to by sister and to my brother and I couldn't for the life of me remember what they were called.
Thanks again.
