Hi all, last Friday at work I kept thinking my mob was vibrating in my right pocket but it wasn't and all through the day and into Sat I kept feeling this buzzy, mild throbby sensation very low down to the right of my stomach. Didn't feel it for a few days but have the last few days. I think it's baby but some girls at work are saying it's too early (i was 15+4 on Fri), especially in a first pregnancy. What do you guys think? Also, i've been using a doppler and can hear the heartbeat at the right hand side so that would fit in but why is my baby down on the right, i always thought it would be slap bang in the middle!?

"Sounds like baby to me!"

Hi hun!

Ahhh! Sounds like baby to me, I was 15 weeks when I first felt her move, and 19 weeks when she first kicked.

I've also got a doppler and although I didn't necessarily find her every time I used it til I got to about 20 weeks, I'd usually find her down on one side aswell at first, for me it was the left. I think it's not always a case of where the baby is, but sometimes where everything else is affecting the "accoustics" aswell?

Interestingly my SPD started on the left hand side aswell so there's clearly something about my left!! (I always sleep on my left actually?).

Anyway - glad to hear everything is going well for you hun, take care

I think it probably is, I didn't feel anything definite til about 18 weeks but Ivo was never much of a kicker. It's amazing feeling it for the first time and knowing there's really a little person growing in there!

I think at 15/16 weeks there's plenty of room for him/her to move round so could be found anywhere.

I'm sure it is your little one moving! It will be irregular at first until he/she gets a bit bigger! I felt baby around 13-14 weeks, was fluttery buzzy feeling just like you are describing... by 16 weeks she was kicking away lol! I think it depends on the pregnancy when you feel it, each baby is different

I felt the baby at 12 weeks (first baby), at the time I wasn't too sure, but I now know it was deff the baby!! Does it feel a bit like a twitch/spasim (nerve or something)???
It's not always in the middle!!
I was feeling her often at 16 weeks!!
It won't be long now until you see your baby kick, its wonderful!!!
Best of luck,
Janice and 22+4 week Lydia bump,
xxx.
