"Pregnant again??? advice needed"
Posted by kirst87 20 August  at  17:14

Last week i had a little blood when i wiped (sorry TMI). Now over the past few days ive been feeling sickly on and off and i swear it is the same kind of sickly feeling i had with morning sickness. Ive also been having mild crampy pains (just like i did at the beginning of my last pregnancy).

I took a test but it would be too soon to give a proper positive, however i thought nothing was there but my partner recins he could see a very faint line! We have been careful, using condoms ect. Could it just be my partners eyes. it was just a cheap sainsburys own one, how accurate are they???

I only gave birth just 13 weeks ago....could i really have accidentally got pregnant in that time.

No idea what to think as the little bit of blood could have just been a breakthrough bleed between periods!

"Still no period!!!"

Going off the big propper period i had then next period date has come and gone! so I started to think that the little bit of blood was possibly a period and if it was then i should have been due on yesterday!

Ive been having slight period cramps but nothing as of yet. Im going to wait untill monday and if no period by then i will get a test. If i am pregnant the DD would be around may and my DS was born on the 22nd 3 weeks early tho so maby next one will come at 37 weeks too which would mean i wouldnt have them with the same birthday!!!

Part of me is excited but the other part is wondering if i could cope.

I suppose i would find a way to cope, it is just nerve wracking when i think i would have a newborn and a baby who had just turned 1 year.
I had a horrific birth too so am very nervous about that but everything will work out ok next time round.

I actually think i will be quite sad if my period does come lolxxx
"You could be!"

I had my first baby on 15th April and my first period was on 30th May. We hoped to have another child at some stage so have not been using any contraception and to let nature take its course. I didn't get my next period so did a boots pregnancy test but it was negative. I had a feeling I was pregnant so did more tests over the next few weeks and in total got 3 negative results then 3 positives. Does say on the pack a recent pregnancy can affect the results. I had a slight bleed on 30th May which I think must have been implantation.

That was just 8 weeks between giving birth and getting pregnant again (although counting back from date of last period it was 6 weeks).

Good luck!

Anna
"Do another test!"

I wouldn't worry about the make, I did two cheap tests from Boots and they came up a very positive blue! Have you had a period since giving birth?

Let us know how everything goes!

Take care

"Test again"
Posted by butterfly3333 20 August  at  19:16

I would do another test again in a couple of days time to put your mind at ease. It is possible to get pregnant so soon after giving birth, my HV and MW were quite pointed about telling me about using contraceptives just incase.... even with the breast feeding!

Hope you get the result you are looking for! Hugs...Sharon & 3wk old baby Grace x
