| Thread started by: | "Making bottles up abroad" Posted by spurgie 4 September at 13:10
To all of you that have taken baby abroad......should I make up his bottles using boiled tap water, mineral water or boiled mineral water?! I read somewhere that you shouldn't give a baby mineral water but does that just mean as a cold drink? I am so confused and we go next week!!!
Any advice much appreciated!

I boiled bottled water, the water is so cheap to buy anyway. I used bottled water and Milton tablets for sterilising.
Have a great time and get some of they funny looking rubber dummys while you're away

Hi hun, I live in Spain, the water where i am is great & i use boiled tap water for Tiana's bottles all the time, so you should be fine! If you are worried thou or if Oliver has a sensitive tummy, give him mineral water, but my friend has just been to stay with us and her 10 month old baby is really sensitive and he was absolutely fine on the water here!
Have a lovely holiday!

I took my daughter abroad when she was 7 months, I used boiled tap water for her bottles and that was fine. She had cooled boiled water during the day aswell. Hope you have a nice time! Gemma and Leigha
