in replyin to my other post thanks for responding wiv all ur thoughts and advice alot of women on here probably thought why did i punch him back ive been in situations where men got the upper hand and i was powerless hence reasons as i was younger i went kickboxing boxing and i took up aload of spoarts to help protect me as i'm 5'1 petite and hes 6'1 and built like a brick poo house

i dont back down from anyone never has never will i'll stick to my guns till the end and i wont budge i dont care who it is

as for mia my puppy shes still sleepin woke up went outside for her morning wee and poo and back into bed after feeding her she knew what she done was wrong and thats that simple as i will not let a dog poo everywhere in the kitchen when she clearly has a cat flap she knows how to use she has done on her own many time

okay thanks donna

Don't know why you would want a puppy particulary a staff with a baby coming.

I also think you're being a bit too forgiving to OH. Someone I know had a m/c and it took her 4 years to tell me it was brought on by the partner who it turns out had been violent throughout the relationship. Rather than feel sorry for her, as she thought, it angered me that she never acted on primal instinct to protect the child and get him to fk long before when between us here we've had 1000's of m/c's that just occured without cause. Your OH has displayed violent potential and that is concerning and a danger to you and your child.

I also don't agree that it was right to punch him in the face and risk exacerbating the situation, certainly not in your condition. He could have reacted really badly to that. Personally, I wouldn't want to risk breaking a nail by hitting anyone and anyone who wants to hit me will find themselves arrested, as my ex partner found out. This is obviously a very effective method as I'm actually embarrassed to admit it was not the first time he had been violent but it was certainly the last.

Your attitude of not backing down etc kind of leaves a bad taste in my mouth, maybe it's getting lost in the typing but I'm reading it as if you'd react first, think later and this isn't clever.

People hit out when they're not in control of a situation or their feelings. Whether it be to hit their kids or whoever. It's the last resort of the emotionally incapable. I would never want to feel as vulnerable as that. Those who can't think - fight.

It is not my intention to upset you but I like to speak my mind too.

i saw my mother in a bad relationship and thats the reason why i wont let a man have power or control over me it happened once and i was left feeling powerless after they done some sick and twisted things in front me so excuse me for not wantin that kinda vulunabilty again i know i was wrong to punch him but he wont ever lay a finger on me again as he said he was very much shocked i hit back and told him so
