"Pain in right side"
Posted by ellie223 7 September  at  12:31

You'd think I'd be more relaxed about all this second time around...

I've got an achy pain to my right side about 4 inches above my pelvis (near my ribs). It started yesterday while I was washing the pots and after I sat down, it went. Still feeling a bit tender today, but when I went for a wee this morning, as I emtied my bladder the pain went. Just wondering if anyone's had the same?? It's not really bad, just there. Any ideas ladies???

Got myself all worked up that maybe the pain is lower and it's an ectopic pregnancy...You know how it is!!??

Love

hi its my second too and i have had same pains for a while now, i am 30 wks, and its so uncomfortable now when im sitting, driving, it wakes me up, the only thing that relieves it is standing and anything cold on the area, my midwife has ruled out most serios things, and doc said its just muscles and skin stretching, or where baby is lay! my doc isnt the most reliable, and my practice you only have one doc so i cant see another. i am seeing my midwife again tomorrow afternoon, and i may even go to the nhs walk in center and just sit and wait.
hope yours goes as this is so annoying!

a slight urine infection

i've had pains like that when i've had cystitus but without the other symptoms, which can happen sometimes
easy enough to fix with a trip to the docs
i would suggest going tomorrow though as you don't want to leave that if it is a urine infection.

then again i also had pains like that at around that stage of my pregnancy, almost as though things were having to move to make room for the urine to move and flow and the tubes were getting squashed in the process. haven't a clue if that is what it was of course, it just felt like that.

I've had the same pain for 3 days now, today is the first day that it has completely gone, it felt more like a muscle ac to me.

But last week i was getting pain on my right side and i was sent to the epau to check for an ectopic... gladly they couldn't see anything.

I think its just alot of things being moved around down there, but to put your mind at rest i would ask your mw or gp.
