was like thick discharge with brown blood at the start as i was losing my for 4 days, by the friday it was getting redder. Alot of folk think it comes away in a one but it can be common for it to take days apparently according to a mw at my hospital. a few days before the plug started to come away it did get a bit thicker discharge. cant believer its 2 weeks for you eek
"I read that it would be like jelly!"

But mine was like a pink discharge. When my waters went it was like a rush sensation and there wasn't too much liquid. It soaked a maternity pad but that was it (sorry TMI!) and carried on leaking a little for the next 36hrs before I was taken into hospital. But I just wore maternity pads and it was fine.

Hope that helps, not long now!

Mine was just like a thicker discharge, but i was leaking waters also and didnt know.
Ive heard a lot of people mention that it is more jelly like than anything else...some people however never notice loosing the plug!

Hope this helps,

was a pink coloured like jelly though, I definatly knew it was my plug! I got butterflys and got very excited that it might not be too long, I rang the hospital and they said it sounded like the start of labour!

This was at 4pm Monday afternoon, contractions started 2/3am Tuesday morning, I lost another bit of my plug at 5am and then I carried on labouring throughout the day until I delivered Eleanor on Wednesday at 10.38am!

Hope this helps...I blabbered a bit, the answer was yes, for me it was jelly like as typically described!
