will happen i think. its like any other old wives tales, i think. i kept mine from 20 weeks in the flat and everything was fine. if you've got the space and are happy to have it in your house then go for it, it will save the hassel on getting it from whoever has it once the bump is born. As for opening stuff i have never heard that. I kept mine in boxes til 38 weeks as i was moving at 38 weeks but it was all unpacked and set up by the mother in law and nick when the rest of us was upacking the rest of the boxes. Silly ? but do you believe in old wives tales???

the old wives tale is that its bad luck to keep the pram in the house before the baby arrives , am unsure as to whether this extends to moses basket and bouncer ...

I ordered mine and kept it in the shop until I was in labour - OH went to collect it while I was in hospital, Im too superstitious !! I kept moses basket and other such items stored in cellophane in my mums attic - she set it all up for me before i came home with Harry which was really sweet
